ALANA PODRX
Alana is a Canadian-born visual artist, investor & entrepreneur. From startups to paintings, she is merging the world of technology, venture and creativity through work, events and art spaces.
In 2016, Alana Launched McKinsey’s New Venture group and Corporate Venture Capital Service line which included launching and scaling 30+ SaaS products over a 3 year period. She was the CEO of OMNI, a geospatial analytics SaaS software for location strategy and omnichannel sales in retail and banking, which merged with the Consumer Practice in early 2020. She also founded Space Btwn, a meditation and wellness company, which was acquired in 2021.
Today she focused on new models of economic empowerment - with women in mind. Alana recently founded Eve, a tokenized community for women building wealth.
IN THE STUDIO
Podrx primarily works through a unique form of 3D painting, in which acrylic, layers of glass, and digital images form frozen moments. These works often centre on the role of women in society, history and the future.
She has exhibited internationally and her work can be found in collections throughout the United States, Canada and Brazil.
